Sunday Devotion

Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV) “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

In a world where everything seems to be in constant flux, it is comforting to know that God never changes. We can always count on God's love and mercies, no matter what we are going through. His amazing mercies are new every day, and His faithfulness is constant, steady, and true. What an amazing promise to rest in!

Dear Lord, as I come into your holy presence today, I thank you that your word reminds me that your love never ceases. Also, I thank you that your mercies never come to an end. As I pray and talk with you Lord through my prayers, I realize your mercies are new every morning and I'm amazed that you are always faithful to me even when I struggle to be faithful in my recovery from my food addiction. Please help me today to run to you instead of focusing on my cravings for my binge foods. Thank you, Amen!
