A Weekend Without Overeating

Praying you all have a happy weekend free from overeating. Maybe you've done this too: say you are going to just eat one or have just one bite and then eat way too much. The guilt and the stomach and digestive pain we have later is not enjoyable and usually regrettable. It's not our fault! Remember that sugar and many of the chemicals added to foods these days is highly addictive. Science is only just beginning to provide evidence of this. Similar to the alcoholic, we need to avoid the first bite in order to avoid overeating. Life IS enjoyable - more enjoyable actually - without the foods we have been addicted to. A happy and healthy weekend begins with God, and a plan for healthy eating and living.
