Are you an overeater?

Two people pondering with question marks above, surrounded by food. Text: "Are You an Overeater? There Is Hope!" Red background.

Maybe you don’t think so.

Maybe you just want to lose a few pounds.

Maybe you think the next diet will work… if you just try harder.

Most experts say we should eat everything in moderation.

Even desserts.

“Go ahead — just keep it balanced.”

But how has that been working for you?

It didn’t work for me.

I truly wanted moderation to work.

But if I didn’t overeat today…

I’d do it tomorrow.

Then the next day.

And the next.

Did you know that eating just 200 extra calories a day can lead to 30 pounds gained in a year?

So what’s the answer?

Many people have discovered something surprising:

Just like an alcoholic can’t have “just one drink,”

some of us can’t have “just one bite” of certain foods.

And that’s not failure.

That’s clarity.

Is that kind of change possible?

Yes.

Not forever.

Just for today.

Try it for two weeks.

One day at a time.

You might start feeling better.

Clearer.

More peaceful.

And you may decide to keep going.

A new way of life is possible —

with God’s help

and supportive people walking with you.
