Are your negative thoughts derailing your eating plan? You know sugar is addictive and you want to stay away from it, but it's hard, right? I get that. I struggled with overeating for years, especially overeating high sugar, high carb foods. I gave up on so many diets over the years because after struggling through the yo yo dieting pattern, it just seemed impossible.
No matter your struggles with food, you are a loved child of God. Precious in his sight. Precious enough to sing over you. That's Zephaniah 3:17. He knows every hair on your head. That's Luke 12 verse 7. And knit you together in your mother's womb. Psalm 139 verse 13. You are his masterpiece. Ephesians 2:10.
Next time you feel discouraged with your eating or feel you're falling short in any area of your life, remember Romans 8:1, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. I hope this encourages you to keep going no matter how many times you need to pick yourself up and try again. You can do this! The negative self-talk is not helpful, and I hope in those situations you'll remember how much God loves you.
