
It's normal to feel guilt or shame after a binge, but try not to beat yourself up over it! Not only is that not helpful in getting us back on track to eating healthy, but it actually makes it harder to get on track. Remember God's grace and forgiveness for you. Romans 8:1 (NIV) says "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Extend this grace and forgiveness towards yourself. This addiction can be very hard to break and you need to be kind to yourself. Your self-love will go a long way in helping you recover from this addiction and become a happier, healthier person.
