Proverbs 8:17 (ESV) "I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me."

God is not hiding from us. When we truly seek Him, we find Him. When we seek Him in times of temptation, He will be there to help us.

The problem I’ve found is that when I have wanted to eat things not good for me, I don’t think to ask God for help. Asking for help before the temptation arises is key. Let’s remember to pray and seek God — always.

Dear Lord, thank You that You are there for me when I look for You. Help me to remember You in all things, all the time. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
