I will listen to what God the Lord says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants – but let them not turn to folly. ~Psalm 85:8 (NIV)
So in these verses, the Sons of Korah say they will listen to God, that He promises believers peace, and pray God’s people will not sin.
When God speaks to us, He reminds us that when we follow Him, we have peace. Our prayer every day should be that we follow Him in all we do, think, and say so we will have peace and honor God.
Dear Lord, help me to remember Your promise of peace. Help me to hear Your voice and are wise in our choices with food and in life. Amen.
