“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13 (NIV)
God invites us to put on His full armor knowing that temptations in this world are strong. When we pray unceasingly, stay in His Word, and do what it says, we have the armor we need to stay protected against temptation and evil. Ask God for willingness and He will help you.
Dear Heavenly Father, I ask You for protection from all temptation today. This also includes helping me stay faithful to my food plan today. Help me to plan well and keep to my eating plan so that I don’t fall into temptation to eat my binge foods today. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
