Sunday Devotion

Proverbs 11:24-25 One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

Step 12 talks about being of service to others. When we do that, God tells us that we will prosper, or be blessed. This is not our motivation for helping others, but rather a logical outcome. Working Step 12 and serving others bless not only the people we are serving, but ourselves as well. Dear Lord, Thank you for the opportunity to help others.

Dear Lord, Please give us the strength and courage it can take to be the blessing you want us to be. Help us to remember you in everything we think, do and say, and bless us today and always. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
