
What can you do about dinner parties you have been invited to? You know there will be food, but how do you navigate that and stay away from your binge foods? Remember - we know that we will not be able to stop with just one. Therefore, to avoid overeating, we need to stay away from even starting to eat the foods that cause us to overeat. Here's a suggestion: ask the host/hostess if you can bring something to share, and then stick to eating that. Depending on your relationship with the host, you can mention to them that you have food you need to avoid due to restrictions/allergies. It's quite common and most people are not offended.
