🌅 Easter Sunday Devotion: He Is Risen — and So Are We
“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.”— Matthew 28:6 (NIV)
Today, we celebrate the greatest victory the world has ever known — Jesus Christ conquering sin and death through His resurrection. The tomb is empty, and because He lives, we too have the hope of new life.
Easter is more than a holiday; it’s a declaration. A declaration that the past does not define us, that sin does not have the final say, and that through Jesus, we can rise above the things that once held us down — including our struggles with food, emotional pain, or self-worth.
Are you weary? Burdened? Discouraged in your journey? Take heart. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you (Romans 8:11). You don’t walk this path alone. His resurrection means there is always hope for renewal, healing, and transformation.
💬 Let today be your reminder: Whatever has been broken can be restored. Whatever has been bound can be loosed. Whatever has died can live again in Christ.
Prayer
Jesus, thank You for the cross. Thank You for the empty tomb. On this Resurrection Sunday, I lay down my burdens and receive the new life You offer. Raise me up in Your strength. Help me walk in Your power, and remind me daily that because You live, I too can live in freedom and joy. Amen.
