Growing Weary - Isaiah 40:28

Have you ever reached the end of the week and realized just how tired you are?

Not just physically tired, but mentally and emotionally tired too.

Sometimes we may even feel tired of trying — tired of working on the same struggles, tired of making good choices, tired of waiting for things to change.

But God does not grow tired.

"Do you not know?

Have you not heard?

The Lord is the everlasting God,

the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary,

and his understanding no one can fathom."

— Isaiah 40:28 (NIV)

I love the reminder that when my strength is running low, God's isn't.

He understands what we're facing. He sees the things that no one else sees. And He never gets tired of us coming to Him for help.

Whatever you're carrying into this weekend, you don't have to carry it in your own strength.

Turn to the One who never grows weary.
