Healthy Salad Dressing - Fixed!


Last week's salad dressing recipe was awful. It had a very heavy oil taste that was not good at all! I asked friends if there was any way to fix it, and they suggested adding more lemon juice and whisking it in well. After adding another 1/4 cup, it helped quite a bit. I thought it was worth a repost.


Salad dressings are often full of sugar, artificial sweeteners, and chemicals. I’m experimenting with making my own dressing. I combined not 1/4 cup of lemon juice, but 1/2 cup, along with 1 tsp of organic Italian seasoning, 3/4 tsp of sea salt, and 3/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil. I mixed the first three ingredients together, then drizzled in the olive oil while whisking vigorously. This salad dressing might be worth a try! Let me know what you think. Calories: 120 per tbsp.
