A successful food plan needs to be easy for you to maintain and includes foods you like. Avoid foods and drinks with sugar, high fat and high carb foods. Make sure you get a lot of protein (you'd be surprised how much is recommended!), veggies, water, and healthy fats (think avocados, nuts, seeds, oils).
Along with the right food, getting plenty of sleep is so important! Your body burns fat while you are sleeping, but needs time to do that. Usually 7-8 hours per night or more is recommended. Also, when you are sleep-deprived, you are more likely to overeat.
Being successful takes planning. Once planned, it's helpful to commit your food to a trusted friend or accountability partner. Especially when you are busy or going out to eat.
Proverbs 21:5 says, The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.
