
Do you have resentments? People have hurt us and it can sometimes still hurt years later, but it hurts us even more to hold resentments. Philippians 4:8-9 says "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." So I encourage you to remember the good things in people. We have all fallen short and hurt others on ocassion, but hopefully people will remember us for the good we have done, and we can do the same for others. When we do this, God's peace will be with us. Step 4 helps us on our journey towards this peace with God and people.
