Overcoming food addiction starts with acknowledging the truth—our binge foods often have a hold over us. Foods high in sugar, fat, and carbs can create a cycle of physical addiction and mental obsession.
But here’s the good news: admitting powerlessness isn’t giving up—it’s the first step to freedom. Through the 12 Steps and God’s guidance, we can break the cycle, reclaim our health, and honor our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Start by identifying your “red light” foods—the ones you can’t stop eating once you start. Write them down, pray over them, and take that first step toward freedom.
