Surrendering to God doesn't mean giving up. It means letting go of the belief that we have to manage everything on our own.

When we struggle with overeating, we may try harder, make more rules, or promise ourselves that tomorrow will be different. But lasting recovery involves learning to trust God rather than relying entirely on our own willpower.

Surrender is a daily choice. We seek God's guidance, follow our recovery plan, and trust Him with the things we cannot control.

Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV) reminds us:

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Today, let's ask God to guide our thoughts, our choices, and our actions. We don't have to figure everything out on our own.

What is one thing you can surrender to God today?
