“He who did not spare his own son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:32 (NIV)
When we think about all that God has done for us, it is easier to trust that all will work together for our ultimate good. Therefore, we can have hope in the Lord during hard times instead of turning to food.
Dear Lord, thank You for all the blessings You’ve given me. I know I have been richly blessed in all things—even in the hard times. Help me to remember all Your blessings, especially the gift of Your Son, during those hard times. Help me to turn to You during these times and not to extra food. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
