Sunday Devotion

Open Bible on a wooden table with a teacup and jar. Text reads: Psalm 119:105 "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path."

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5

In these verses, Jesus teaches that we need to walk in all the ways He taught us throughout His life, as written in the Holy Scriptures. We can’t do this without Him and His Spirit living within us. When we do His will, He will be with us and strengthen us all our days. Let’s pray that we always remain (abide) in Him.

Dear Lord Jesus, I thank You that I can abide in You so that I can bear good fruit in my life. This also means that You will help me make good food choices in my daily food plan. Help me, dear Lord, to eat well so that I can live well today. Amen.
