Sunday Devotion

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” John 15:7 (NKJV)

Jesus is telling us here that if we are actively and continuously connected to Him, that our desires will also be in alignment with His. Therefore, when we are abiding in Him, we can confidently ask Him for what we desire and know that it will be done for us. When our will and God’s will are in alignment, we can be sure that it will be done for us. 

Therefore, the encouragement is to stay with Him and follow Him in all His ways. Ask Him for things that are His will for us. He wants to give us His best.

Dear Lord Jesus, Help me to abide in You fully. I ask that You help me make a food plan and action plan that will help me to feed my body to be nourished and fully healthy today. Thank You that I can trust that You will grant me the desires of my heart today. Amen.
