Sunday Devotion - 2 Chronicles 16:9

2 Chronicles 16:9a (NIV) “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”

What a comfort to know that God is looking for hearts fully committed to Him — not perfect, just surrendered. When we feel weak or tempted, He promises to give us strength. Even when we fall short, His eyes are still on us, ready to restore and renew. Let’s keep turning our hearts toward Him, one faithful step at a time.

Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you that you promise to keep me in your sight and that you will strengthen my heart as I live a life that is fully committed to you. Please help me remember that when I'm weak and vulnerable that I can turn to you for strength, wisdom and direction. Thank you for your faithfulness to me even when I struggle in my commitment to your ways and living a restored and transformed life of recovery. I know that I can always trust you to restore me when I struggle with my cravings and choices! Amen
