Sunday Devotion

Isaiah 30:15a (ESV) “This is what the sovereign Lord, the holy one of Israel says: in repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength...”

True strength doesn’t come from our own effort — it comes from repentance, rest, and trust in the Lord. When we turn back to Him, He offers peace, forgiveness, and a fresh start. Even when cravings or setbacks come, His grace is always enough to restore us. Let’s return to Him daily, trusting that His quiet strength will carry us.

Dear Holy Spirit, help me to see the value in the repentance that you offer me when I struggle with sin and failure. I need to realize that I need to return to you and your grace and forgiveness for my life.

Also, help me to rest in your love so that I can receive it fully and extend it to others. Thank you, Lord, for saving me from unhealthy cravings and Temptations that sometimes derail my serenity and abstinence. I know with you Lord, I can always be forgiven and free to restart and refresh my recovery with your strength and salvation! Thank you and Amen!
