"So may all your enemies perish, Lord! But may all who love you be like the sun when it rises in its strength." Judges 5:31
When Deborah and Barak sang this, they were celebrating God’s victory over Israel’s enemies. Their song ends with a powerful contrast: those who oppose God will fall, but those who love Him will shine like the rising sun — strong, steady, and full of life.
For us, this verse is a reminder that our struggles and setbacks don’t define us. When we love and follow the Lord, He gives us His strength. Just like the sun cuts through the darkness each morning, God’s light in us shines through weakness, shame, and even addiction.
✨ You are not a failure — you are a child of God. Keep loving Him, keep walking with Him, and He will make you shine with His strength.
Prayer: Lord, thank You that in You there is no failure, only grace. Help me to keep loving You with all my heart, and may Your light shine through me like the sun in its strength. Amen.
