Sunlit Bible and open book on a wooden table beside a teacup and glass jar, with Psalm 119:105 verse overlaid.

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:8 (NIV)

God invites us to experience His goodness firsthand. When we take refuge in Him, we can trust that He cares about every part of our lives, including our struggles with food. We don't have to rely on willpower alone. We can turn to Him for wisdom, strength, and guidance as we make choices that support our recovery.

Dear God, I thank You that You are good and that I can trust You with my food choices and action plan today. Please guide me with Your wisdom, grace, and power to stay abstinent from all my binge foods today. I know that You are good and always want what's best for me. Help me to follow You, Lord, in all my choices today. I thank You for helping me to eat well and to live well today. Amen!

Amen! That's where having others to lean on can be helpful for me. They remember when I forget!
