What’s in My Fridge (and Why It Matters for Recovery)

YouTube video of Julie showing what's in her refrigerator

I recently did a casual video tour of my refrigerator — nothing fancy, just a peek into what we actually eat in real life. But as I watched it back, I realized… this is exactly the kind of thing that used to trip me up.

When I was still caught in the cycle of dieting and binging, my fridge (and pantry) felt like a war zone. Too many tempting foods, not enough structure, and no plan in place. I didn’t just need to change what was in my fridge — I needed to change how I thought about food altogether.

Today, things look a little different:

✔️ I keep plenty of high-protein staples like eggs and yogurt

✔️ I include satisfying options like gluten-free bread and sunflower butter

✔️ I plan ahead, but don’t aim for perfection — because real life happens

If you're curious or struggling, take a peek at this quick video. You’ll see what I keep on hand to support recovery, reduce stress around food, and make good choices easier. (Plus, you’ll meet my cats — and hear a little fridge banter with Tony 😊)

And if your fridge (or your relationship with food) feels more chaotic than peaceful, you’re not alone. I’d love to help you find your next step. Let’s talk about what recovery could look like for you.
