New Mercies, New Strength: The Power of Daily Surrender

Have you ever felt like you're starting over… again?
You’ve made progress, you’ve done the work, but then life hits hard — stress, disappointment, old habits — and suddenly you’re back at square one. Or at least it feels that way.
But here’s the truth I’ve had to learn (and relearn):
Surrender isn’t failure. It’s the beginning of freedom.
In our faith-based recovery journey, we aren’t called to be perfect. We’re called to be surrendered.
When we stop trying to control everything — our weight, our cravings, our schedule, our emotions — and we turn to God in honesty and humility, that’s where the healing begins again.
Because starting over isn’t the same as giving up. It’s choosing to try again with God’s strength instead of our own.
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” – Lamentations 3:22-23
If today feels like a “start over” kind of day, I want to remind you:
➡️ You’re not alone.
➡️ You’re not behind.
➡️ And God is not disappointed in you.
He’s right here, offering fresh mercy and grace for this moment.
Let Him carry you — and don’t be afraid to begin again.💜
