Overcoming Overeating Is About the Process, Not the Goal

Most people begin their weight loss journey with a goal.
Maybe it's losing 20 pounds. Maybe it's fitting into a favorite pair of jeans. Maybe it's simply wanting to stop feeling out of control around food.
There's nothing wrong with having goals. They can give us direction and something to work toward.
But goals alone rarely produce lasting change.
What changes our lives are the daily choices we make consistently over time.
When I finally found lasting freedom from overeating, it wasn't because I made one dramatic decision. It was because, with God's help, I learned to build healthy habits one step at a time.
Recovery isn't built in a single moment.
It's built one meal at a time.
One choice at a time.
One day at a time.
If you've been discouraged because you've struggled to reach your goals, don't give up. Instead of asking, "How close am I to my goal?" try asking, "Am I following the process today?"
Faithfulness to the process is what leads to lasting freedom.
Watch today's short video to learn why focusing on your daily process can make all the difference in your recovery.
