What if you stopped trying to overcome overeating through willpower alone?

Maybe you've tried countless diets, made promises to yourself, and prayed for the strength to stop overeating. Yet somehow, you keep falling back into the same habits.

I know that struggle because I've been there, too.

But here's something I've learned in recovery: God cares about every area of our lives, including our struggles with food.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.” — Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)

Step Two of recovery reminds us that we don't have to rely on our own strength. We can turn to our loving God for help, guidance, and the strength to make healthier choices.

That doesn't mean recovery happens overnight or that we don't have work to do. Prayer, practical tools, healthy eating habits, and the support of others all play a part.

You don't have to keep fighting this battle alone. Recovery is possible!
