Sunday Devotion

“Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My father will honor the one who serves me.” John 12:26 (NIV)


In this verse, Jesus connects serving Him with following Him. In serving and following Him, we draw closer to Him and are truly His disciples. So when we’re struggling, we would do well to pause and ask ourselves how we can follow Jesus more closely.


Dear Lord, help me to follow You closely today. Help me to remember to pause and ask myself how I can best follow You in all my ways. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
