Sunday Devotion: John 10:10

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. — John 10:10

Jesus didn’t come so that we could merely survive each day—He came to give us life to the full. As we make choices that support our recovery and care for our bodies, we can remember that we aren’t being deprived; we are choosing the freedom and abundant life Christ desires for us.

Dear Lord Jesus, I ask that You help me live according to the abundant life that You have planned for me today. May I walk in Your amazing grace so that if I stumble, I can be forgiven immediately when I come to You and ask for forgiveness. Please help me to walk in Your ways so that I can eat well and live well today. And help me to be a blessing to others too. Amen.
