Psalm 19:4 (ESV) “Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.”
Our words and thoughts reveal what’s truly in our hearts. Psalm 19:14 reminds us to bring both before God — not just our actions, but our inner life, too. As we walk in recovery, we need His help to speak with kindness and think with clarity, especially when temptations or emotions rise. God is our Rock when we feel unsteady, and our Redeemer when we fall short. Let’s invite Him to shape both our words and our hearts today.
Dear heavenly father, I'm encouraged by your word that says you are my rock and my Redeemer! Please help me say and do things that encourage and help others, myself and your Kingdom here on earth.
I pray that the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart will always be pleasing to you Lord! And I know that when I'm weak, you make me strong as I submit all my concerns, cares, and cravings to you. Thank you, and Amen!
