Sunday Devotion - Psalm 46:10

A Quiet Heart, A Trusting Spirit ❤️
"Be still, and know that I am God." — Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
How often do we rush into our day with a long list of things to do and worries already filling our minds?
Sometimes we're so busy trying to manage everything that we forget to simply be still in God's presence.
Recovery teaches us that we don't have to control everything. We can surrender our worries, our struggles with food, and even our plans for the day to the One who loves us and knows what's best for us.
Being still doesn't mean doing nothing. It means trusting God enough to stop striving to control everything ourselves.
Today, take a few moments to quiet your heart and remember that God is with you.
Dear God, thank You for this beautiful day and for Your constant love and care. Help me to quiet my thoughts and rest in Your presence. I surrender my worries, my food choices, and my plans to You today. Guide me with Your wisdom and strengthen me to make choices that honor You and support my recovery. Thank You for Your grace, patience, and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Wishing you a peaceful and blessed Sunday! ❤️
