Step One isn’t about giving up. It’s about telling the truth.

For many of us, the real struggle isn’t knowing what to do —

it’s admitting that willpower, diets, and “trying harder” haven’t brought lasting freedom.

Step One invites honesty without shame.

It simply says: I can’t do this on my own — and that’s okay.

Powerlessness isn’t weakness.

It’s the place where self-reliance ends and real help can begin.
