Eating Out Healthy

A quick, healthy dinner swap – Arby’s roast beef on Canyon Bakehouse gluten-free bread. Just 290 calories, high in protein, and gentle on the stomach.

Yesterday was one of those super busy days.

I have a long drive home so didn’t get home from work until 6:15. I was tired, but it was a beautiful summer evening in Arizona and the pool was calling me and Tony. So we put on our swim suits and headed to the pool without dinner.

By the time we were done, cooking wasn’t on the menu.

So Tony and I went through the Arby’s drive-through for dinner. I ordered the classic roast beef sandwich without the bun – just around 150 calories with lots of protein, fairly low in fat, no sugar or a lot of chemicals added. A pretty healthy choice overall!

Once home, I put the meat between two pieces of Canyon Bakehouse gluten-free bread and added a vegetable on the side. Low calories, protein-packed, and best of all—no stomach ache. 🙌

Life happens, but we can still make choices that keep us feeling good. Healthy doesn’t have to be complicated. 💛
