Anniversary Dinner, Recovery Style
✨ What does recovery look like when you’re celebrating a special occasion? For me, it looked like lobster tail and hot tea. 🦞☕
Tony and I finally had the chance to celebrate our anniversary after a long travel day earlier this week. It felt so good to slow down, enjoy the day together, and savor a special dinner. I passed on the bread, had a fresh salad, and saved my appetite for the lobster tail I was really looking forward to.
This is what recovery means to me: not deprivation, but freedom. Freedom to enjoy life, make wise choices, and celebrate the moments that truly matter.
💛 If you’re on your own recovery path, remember — special occasions can be joyful without slipping back into old habits. With God’s help, we can make those one-choice-at-a-time decisions that bring real peace.
