Healthy Meal: Salads

Talking about salads today. Not always the most exciting meal, but they can be really tasty and healthy and filling. I mix my lettuces. I've got a combination of romaine and spinach. I like the romaine better, but the spinach is extra healthy, so I mix the two and make sure that they're both organic.


And then I add fat and protein, and this is a protein packed mix. It's edamame, cranberries, cashews, and sunflower seeds. It's got seven grams of protein, seven grams of fat, and only three grams of added sugar. And then add a protein, such as chicken. Make sure it's not breaded or fried, and you have a very filling, tasty salad.
