Overeating Struggles: One Donut at a Time

I struggled with overeating. Can you relate?
I’d tell myself, “I’ll just have one.”
But it never stopped at one.
I’d eat it so fast I barely tasted it.
And then… the others would start calling to me. I couldn’t get them to “shut up” until I went back for more — sometimes until I had a stomach ache.
Maybe you know that cycle too — the guilt, the cravings, the feeling of being out of control.
But here’s the good news: There is hope. I found a Christ-centered 12-step program, and I still work it today.
With practical tools, supportive community, and leaning heavily on Jesus, I’ve found real freedom.
I’ve maintained a 90-pound weight loss for 17 years — and not by being perfect, but by staying surrendered.
If you’re stuck in the cycle and wondering if change is possible… it is.
💬 You don’t have to do it alone.
