“Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.” Psalm 36:5 (NIV)
King David proclaims in this verse how much God loves us. God’s love for us is really much more than we can fathom, but David tries to explain it in human terms. With a God who loves us this much, we do not need to be anxious or afraid. We do not need to turn to food in our anxiousness and fear.
Dear Lord, thank You for Your love, and Your Word that tells me of Your love. Help me to remember this love and remember You in everything I do. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
