Romans 8:18 “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us”
Life here on earth is hard – for all of us. There is suffering all around us, and it makes life very difficult. It’s normal to feel discouraged because of the hardships in this life, but Paul tells us that the glory we will experience in the next life will be wonderful beyond compare. It’s hard for us to imagine how amazing life will be when we get to heaven, but that glory will be revealed to us and in us sooner than we ever could have expected.
Dear Holy Spirit, Fill me with your spirit and the fruit of the spirit today. May Your peace help me to experience Your glory in my life even in the midst of any challenges or temptation that I may face today.
Thank you that your power is always available to me even in the midst of suffering and temptation. You promise to bring me through to the other side of these trials with great joy. Thank you – Amen.
