Learning to Trust

Child jumps toward man in sunset field, conveying trust. Text: "Learning to Trust" with Bible verse. Website link included.

Sometimes trusting God doesn’t feel safe.

Not because God isn’t good…

but because life has been hard.

When you’ve been hurt by people…

when things have been unpredictable…

when you’ve watched Christians suffer too…

it can be hard to believe:

“Everything is going to be okay.”

And if you’re someone who tries to control outcomes to avoid pain — I get it.

I’ve been there.

But here’s what I’m learning in recovery:

trust isn’t pretending nothing will hurt.

Trust is believing God will hold you through it.

📖 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

If you’re struggling today, you don’t have to force yourself to feel strong.

Just take one small step back toward God.

One moment at a time. 💛
