Cravings can sneak up like a shark in the water — sudden, aggressive, and convincing you that you need to give in.
But giving in often leaves us feeling worse, not better. That’s why in recovery, we learn to recognize the attack before we feed it.
Instead of panicking or giving in, we pause, pray, and remember:
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful…” — 1 Corinthians 10:13
We don’t face cravings alone. With a plan, support, and God’s grace, we can break free — one moment at a time.
