Your Body is God’s Temple

A woman smiles at herself in the mirror while wearing a robe. Text on the image reads: “Your Body is God’s Temple – 1 Corinthians 6:19–20. Stewardship, not vanity, brings peace.”
Stewardship, not vanity, brings peace. Your body is God’s temple, created to honor Him — not to chase perfection. Let today’s choices reflect His love.

We live in a culture that tells us our worth is tied to how we look. But the truth is, God looks at the heart, not the body. Our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit. Our bodies belong to the Lord.

We were redeemed at a high cost—Jesus gave His life for us. That means we can stop chasing perfection and start honoring God with the body He has given us today.

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)

Instead of saying, “I have to lose weight,” try saying, “I want to honor God through my choices today.”
