Halloween can be tough when you struggle with overeating. All that candy seems to call your name from every bowl, office desk, and store aisle.
I get it — I used to sneak candy from my kids’ trick-or-treat bags when no one was looking. It felt harmless in the moment, but it always left me feeling guilty and out of control.
What changed everything for me was learning to lean on God, the 12 Steps, and community support instead of my cravings. I learned that true freedom doesn’t come from avoiding candy — it comes from letting God reshape your heart and habits.
Halloween no longer feels like a problem for me — and it doesn’t have to be for you either. With God’s help, every day can be a victory. 🍬🙌
